Glaring at her mate Foxsong stopped pishing for just a second taking in a deep breath as her spasm dulled for a moment. "W-what do you think I'm trying to do!?" she snapped as a second spasm began to hit. Pushing her muscles again she suddenly let out a painful gasp, feeling a dull in the pain as a very small shape fell to the ground behind her.

Widening his eyes Crookedstep quickly stood up once again "l-let me take them while you care for Foxsong!" He meowed to Barkstripe

Another spasm hit Foxsong before she could turn to look down at her newborn. Pushing again she let out another pained cry, trying to shift a bit before the pain worsened and then relief flooded over her as another small lump fell out in the nest behind her. Crookedstep nodded as He rushed over to pick up the tiny lump, as he grabbed the tiny fur ball his blood ran cold, he laid it by her belly and started to lick the limp body of his son, he felt tears pressing on, blinking tight, this couldn't be true, its not right no, no, no.. He pressed his head to the little body as he stood up "w-why.. Isn't he breathing..." He gazed down at the small body tears falling down his cheeks, it couldn't be true! As he was about to cry out he felt another spasm hit his mate, he was frozen in fear as the other kitten made no noise at all, they were both still born.
